Chad Davis is the President of Cross Oceans. He started his career soon after getting his B.A. at Eckerd College with a focus on International Business.

He was selected to represent the City of St. Petersburg, Florida in Takamatsu, Japan – a sister city. He was a representative of the city and was often presented on TV and public speaking engagements. Chad stayed in Japan for two years learning the language and culture while keeping up relations between the cities. After leaving Japan, Chad traveled and worked around South East Asia in real estate development. He scouted new areas for investors, primarily places to build resorts and golf courses.
After returning to the states in 1994, Chad decided to start Cross Oceans to help executives in understanding business and cultures around the world. He worked with such clients as BASF, SA, ThermoPak, Brazil, JAC Automotive (OEM for Nissan), and the US Immigration and Customs offices in Florida. While in negotiations with large Fortune 500 companies, it became clear to him that it would be beneficial to have an MBA. He received his masters degree from Thunderbird, The Garvin School of International Management, where he focused on management, finance and consulting. He was immediately picked up by British Petroleum (BP), where he was in charge of developing a start up project to sell fuel online.
